Issue and Themes

Up to the end of 2021 there has only been one issue annually, in 2022 sees the beginning of an issue for every batch of short articles accepted.  

 

The issue themes for 2022 that BLIS Journal are predominantly focused around are Business & Management along with Management Learning - Teaching & Learning.
 

The aim is to make each issue concise and specific with a small select number of short articles being published to enable the Editor to manage quick turn around of short articles from submission to publication.


Business & Management Theme
The Business & Management theme is themes focusing in on applied research in business and management in various local, national and international contexts. 

The issue covers topics in the areas of leadership, management in practice, corporate governance, human resource management, marketing, organisational behaviour, organisation theory, strategy, technology management, management learning and related areas. BLIS Journal distinguishes with an additional emphasis on Local, National and Global contexts. The focus on Local, National and Global is an important and appealing feature of the journal.

​BLIS Journal is open to different methodological approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and conceptual work, contributing to an enhanced understanding of Local, National and Global business business and management issues.

The above list is not exhaustive and may be subject to change. It should be noted that a topic not listed may be chosen to meet the needs of a specific issue and the designated Theme Editor who with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board agree would be a worthy addition to the list.
