Issue Themes

The two issue themes for 2021 that BLIS Journal are predominantly focused around are Business & Management along with Teaching & Learning.

Business & Management Theme
The
 Business & Management theme is one of the two nominated BLIS Journal themes focusing in on applied research in business and management in various local, national and international contexts. 

Focus and scope
The issue covers topics in the areas of leadership, management in practice, corporate governance, human resource management, marketing, organisational behaviour, organisation theory, strategy, technology management, and related areas. BLIS Journal distinguishes itself from general business and management journals as it focuses on Local, National and Global contexts. The focus on Local, National and Global is an important and appealing feature of the journal.

​BLIS Journal is open to different methodological approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and conceptual work, contributing to an enhanced understanding of Local, National and Global business business and management issues.
